New Pics Update...and Question....

ajfreptiles Aug 08, 2006 03:05 PM

These 2 are brother and sister...Born 12/12/05...

The light colored one has a color that looks like he should be a ghost but yet I see the reddish color in his tail saddles...so I have been waiting for him to color up...lol...nothin' doing with this guy it seems...

His belly is totally white and the only black is on a few tail rings but even that does not look right...

I took them outside to try and provide natural light without a flash....so maybe someone can tell me what they think is going on here?

The male in Question just shed and the only pattern on the shed is those few tail saddles with black the rest seems clear....

Here are the pics....Thanks for any comments...Andy Federico

that you are experiancing a miracle of nature. The amazing differences that can be produced from siblings of the same litter. I cant see anything in the pictures that would look like something "special" I mean other than the gorgeous pictures that you have those are some great looking snakes. Im sorry that I cant be any more help but sometimes its just what they are! Beautiful snakes

Sincerely,
Rose Aguilar

That's the fun of a litter of boas. There really is a variety of different looks you generally will have. I agree, I don't see anything "going on" that would make me think..........."Holy crap!" But, the light one really is nice. I would grow it up and breed it with another really light animal. The babies that one should produce should be great.
Congrats on a great litter.
