My friend just recently bought a colombian rainbow boa. And was wondering if you could cross breed that with a Peruvian rainbow. Any advice would be great.

dragonking,
....We have a Rainbow Boa forum here on kingsnake.com. Stop by and have a look and join in. The people there will probably "encourage" you to not cross different subspecies.
....It is possible to cross different subspecies of Rainbow Boas. The Colombian subspecies is probably not as easy to cross as some of the other subspecies. Colombian Rainbows have been rarely crossed with the commonly kept and bred Brazilians. I do not know of any cases where they have been crossed with Peruvians. There is an upcoming reclassification of the Rainbow Boas which may move the Colombian Rainbow into a totally seperate species.
