i just got my first snakes....beautiful..a male and female they are both about a foot and half to 2 feet..both are ball pythons..when can they first breed and how do i get them to breed and so on..i could use some help
someone please help me on my way im a super noob lol =D

I think Nerd and VPI pythons both have good books on Balls.

Basically, keep them warm, feed them a lot and intro the males to the females when they are big enough and they will do the breeding all by themselves.

You will need a book to guide you thru the breeding and egg care.

The male will be ready long before the female.

Males about 1 year old and 500 plus grams this varies from male to male - we have seen some breed early like 300-400 grams and some 2 year olds that haven't bred.

Females about 2-3 years and over 1500 grams again it's dependant on the snake - but for females there could be problems and complications if you breed them too early.

There are plenty of books and websites that will give you the basics involved in breeding.
