Hatchling racks...

lbrat Aug 08, 2006 04:56 PM

I have corn eggs pipping right now and some trans pecos on the way so I had a need for an inexpensive rack system. It will hold 40, 2.8L containers.I have no need to heat it as my herp room stays in the high 70's to low 80's in the summer and I heat the room with a small electric heater in the winter.
As luck would have it,when I was looking for a place to put it I discovered that if I took one shelf out of my metal shelf unit it fit right in snuggly.

Cool. Did you use thin material for the sides or is it just hidden by the flange of your metal corner posts?

Chris,It's all from 1/2" plywood (top grade) and yes,it is hidden by the shelf unit.
