First successful feeding for a newbie!

Luke_Hunt Aug 08, 2006 10:25 PM

Our baby BCC had his first meal in our house today. The breeder said he had eaten last Thursday, and we were going to wait until then, and get him the live food he was used to. He started moving around, checking things out, and I thought that might mean he was hungry. So we offered F/T fuzzy since it's what we had, and a few minutes later it was gone. He's the third snake we've brought into our home this summer, the first one that wasn't injured or sick when we brought him home, and the first one to eat for us (without any fuss, even). We're very excited!

That's great to hear. Good luck with him and post some pics when you get a chance.

He ate again tonight. I think I'm out of the woods on that at least.
