New Hypo Guyana crosses born today!!!

reptyls Aug 08, 2006 10:30 PM

I came home from work to find 10 perfect little babies this afternoon, and 3 slugs. These guys are smoking!! Mom is a very red guyana and dad is a DH Ghost. There is a lot of red showing in them already and some very reduced patterns also. We ended up with 7 hypos and 3 normals, all 50% het for Anery. This was a weird litter because I thought I saw ovulation on Nov. 26 and removed the male. She then never showed anymore signs until I saw a definate swelling on April 5th. She had not been with a male for almost 5 months!!! The litter was born 108 days POS. I took a few pics but my camera stinks so I couldn't capture all the colors in them. I hope everyone elses year has been this good!! Mine has turned out pretty great.

The hypo x BCC animals look great. I am really getting into how these hypos look. They really are something different.
Congrats again. They look great.

Congratulations!
What are your plans for breeding your holdbacks?
That is, what are you going to breed them to?
On a side note, I think you're right around the corner from me. I lived in Cocoa and worked in Merritt Island until about a week ago. I'm still working in MI for a few more days, but will then be living and working in Palm Bay as the Spanish Instructor for the BCC there.
Congrats again!

I am more amazed at the colors and patterns of these guys every time I look at them. I will post more pics with a better camera once they have shed. I plan on keping a few back, but I know it will be tough deciding which ones to let go. lol
