5 gallon tank?

Skribbles Aug 08, 2006 11:45 PM

I was given a 5 gallon tank and would like to put something in it besides fish. Could anyone recommend a lizard that this would be adequate for?

5 gallons seems a bit too small for any lizard to live in (IMHO). It would be comparable to YOU living in a bathroom.

You a Florida collector? Digger? Diver?

FL & GA/ Digger for the most part but have done some diving. You?

Fl/GA. Started diving the rivers back in the seventies & steadily worked them until they about played out. Done ALOT of digging but that's slowed down since it's hard to find a spot anymore that won't get you thrown in the pokey.

I didn't think so. I was hoping that there may be some miniature breeds of geckos or something like that, which don't grow over a couple inches.

Skribbs,
What about a couple Med geckos? They max around 3-4" & I think would do fine in a 5. Ghostly lizards, they!

You could grow some mosses and plants in the 5 gallon. At least it would look cool.
