Jason-
I hate to tell you but I am right! The breeder may have told you it is okay to keep them in an aquarium, and he probably also told you can keep the two together, and probably told you to put bedding on the bottom of the tank to right! Well some breeders have old ways of doing things, there is allot of people buying veileds from breeders/petshops that say it is okay to keep them in an aquarium, this happens allot in Canada! If you recall back to one of your numerous post to this forum, Bill Strand said and I quote "An aquarium is a bad idea unless you really know what you are doing. Do yourself a favor and set up separate screen enclosures for your females. Having them together is a good way to cause them stress and a stressed gravid female is a good way to get health complications." So are you saying he is wrong to? This is the exact same thing I have been trying to tell you. It sounds like you are waiting for someone to post what you want to hear, and disregard info that doesn't match up with what this breeder says. He may have no problems, but he is experienced and probably doesn't have mold growing in the tanks, and knows how to set up an egg laying area, and so on, or maybe he doesn't have a clue. Glass causes to many problems, and if you plan on keeping your chameleons long term you will provide the proper setup. I would be leave what Bill says, and forget about this breeder. I am not going to get in to a brawl with you over this, I know my info is correct, take it or leave it!
