Introducing Bonnie and Clyde

chico32826 Aug 09, 2006 07:20 PM

Hello All, I finally got my 2 beautiful collareds. These are my first (I also have a bearded dragon, 3 leos, 2 bibrons, 1 long nose leopard lizard, 1 tokay, 1 golden day gecko, 1 horned lizard, 1 iguana, 1 corn snake and 1 boa....I think that's all = ) )
Anywyas, I bought these guys from J.T. exotics and the colors are incredible!!! The pic really doesn't do the male justice and you can't see the blue in the female but she also has a blue tint to her, the males colors are really brilliant but my camera doesn't do it any justice, anyways, let me know what you think, hopefully next spring the 2 will fall in love and make babies!!

They look great and plump, when I got my Collared's they were on the thin side and took some fattening up, yours look good. Keep them happy and the babies sould fallow, good luck

Very nice looking pair and I love the names. You must be very excited.

That's funny--they're not the first "Bonnie and Clyde" on this forum. I guess those names just suit collareds.

I agree, your lizards look healthy, and that's to the credit of the store where you got them. They don't always look that good when you don't buy them from breeders. I like the colors on your boy, such a nice shade of blue.

Congratulations on your new lizards. I'm sure you're going to love owning collareds.

OOPPPPSSS....seems I did a no no on the forum boards, lets try this again, Thanks for all the compliments. I purchased the collareds from the classifieds on this website and it turns out they are wild caughts after all. Either way, they are beautiful WC's and very tame already and I'm very pleased with them. And hopefully next spring they'll be producing some CB babies, I'm sure they'll be real cuties and don't know if I will be able to part with them to sell them.

Bet you will have some gorgeous kids one day soon I picked up a pretty lil wc male from the same place. I look around for colorful Texas collareds to add to my group sometimes.

Keep the pics coming we love them

Next weekend is the Big daytona reptile expo and I'm hping I may find a real pretty colorful collard there to! But I'm also pretty filled up with lizards right now so unless I find another female I may end up grabbing a couple corn snakes.
