male or female?

FLAohHerper Aug 09, 2006 11:19 PM

I've asked this before but still am unsure.I have about a 7 foot albino and looking to breed soon. But I got it as a baby of course and don't remember what I bought it as...So I want to know if there is a way, other than probing,to tell male or female.I have heard some different things about this and the spurs. Some people say if you can see spurs at all,it is a male, some say you can see both, but males protrude more than females and some say the bigger the spurs then it is a male. The thing is that I dont have another 7 foot burm to compare it to..So can someone please give me some clear cut ways to tell..or is my best way to probe it?Thanks guys

Mike

You should have him/her probed. Probing is by far the most accurate method and even it is not correct 100% of the time. Some people sat you can tell by spurs but I have never had any luck with that. You can try to guess if the spurs are huge or nonexistent but even then...
