2 Headed Snow

terrysangel79 Aug 10, 2006 09:37 AM

Am wondering if anyone has any idea of what a 2 headed snow cornsnake would be worth as a hatchling, and after it is 1 or 2 years old.

Thanks in advance for your responses!!

To a university, zoo, or other such organization, the animal may be worth several tens of thousands of dollars, especially so if both heads eat, and the snake functions fully (digesting, drinking, defecating, breeding, shedding, etc.).

To me, it would be worth about what any other snow is worth...unless I had a university or zoo lined up!

Got pictures?

They used to demand a pretty penny, but not really anymore. With the number of corn snakes being breed in captivity they are not as rare as they once were. But like before it's worth as much as someone is willing to pay. If I hatched one I would keep it as an oddity. But to sell it I would look to an auction site, or put a fairly high price on it in the ads section and wait for someone to make on offer.
