Question for Dave....

raingerjoe Aug 10, 2006 10:28 AM

Dave,

Do you have the height and inside dimensions of the iris cb 110's?

I was thinking about making a rack using these bins, but i have not seen them up close and personal yet.

I currently have racks made with the Gracious Living 20 gallon tubs, that are supposed to be (according to the label) 37.75"L x 21.75"W x 6.25"H, But are actually 36.75"L x 21.75"W x 5"H on the outside and 33.5"L x 18.75"W x 5"H on the inside. These are great for sub-adults but not high enough for my adults.

Thank you in advance!!!

Jose

Jose, I had posted this info in the caging forum some time back, not having the dims at my fingertips, I checked there and it was the very last post on the very last page.

The CB110 has a pretty large floor space for a relatively shallow tub. Remember, all tubs are maller on the floor than the top. The CB110 is about 20" x 39" at the top and at the floor is 17" x 36" or 4.25 square feet.

Also, the inside is relatively smooth, no reinforcing ribs or wheel wells. Is easier to clean!!!! I'm building two 10 high rack for them now.

Don't have the inside dims for the tub but the opening (lidless) is 6.25" I would estimate somewhere around 5.75" to 6"

Will have some pics up on Monday

Thank you,

That makes the iris cb 110's at least 1" taller than my bins.
Thanks again for the info.....
