Is sexual maturity based on age or size and what would they be?

That all depends on the individual animal and how it has been kept... A healthy captive born gaboon can reach sexual maturity in 3-4 years... I had a female that gave birth to 12 healthy neonates that was slightly over the 3 foot mark... There were 3 still-born in that litter...

Bigger and more mature females will obviously produce more neonates in a litter...
