the other day i went into home depot to buy the grout for my cage. i started to talk to the guy there and told him what i was doing. he said that he knew what i was doing and showed me what i needed. but when i asked him about sealing it up, he said that it was unneeded be cause im housing snakes. Do you agree? or should i run out and get the sealer.

I would seal it. Reduce the surface area for microbrial growth as much as possible, IMO.

I made a reply to you in your previous thread about epoxy grout.

another thing i was wondering is in regards to lighting. i was at lowes today and saw some undercabinet lighting that would fit perfectly but i am concerned about the humidity in the cage. is it just better to stick to lighting from pet shops or would this work. it is three times cheaper.

I know people have used this stuff but I don't know which brands are best. It might be worth doing a search. I think JungleHabitats had some recommendations.
