Possible surrender?

pinkcamel316 Aug 10, 2006 05:10 PM

My RES was a gift from a friend at college and I've taken care of him as best I could but the enclosure is inadequate. Kip’s carapace is 3” long now and he’s still under one year old. I am looking for a good society or rescue in/near North Carolina. Any advice is welcome. Kip is a really friendly turtle and deserves a good home.

there is a north carolina turtle rescue and referral. but their website is private. and there is no yellowpages listing. they leave an email address dangerturtle@aol.com you can also try the north carolina zoo in ashboro. or the north carolina aquarium in atlantic beach has a red ear slider exhibit. hope that helps if not you can email me eastcoastrage@yahoo.com
