Just Clowning Around...

wetceal Aug 10, 2006 05:25 PM

We recently had a very nice clutch of babies hatch so I took the opportunity to snap some photos! We have a fairly reduced patterned male Clown that we bred to a 100% Het. Female earlier this year. She gave us five eggs - four of which turned out to be Clowns!

We ended up with 2.2 awesome looking babies who seem to take after the dad in pattern and coloration. They all have really killer head patterns too. What more could you ask for?!

Anyways, I was just "clowning around" with the camera (and the snakes) and wanted to share the photos. I think a couple of them came out pretty nicely

Thanks for looking,
Celia

Group shot...

The most reduced patterned individual of the group

This one is cute with his little moustache!

And one of the babies with an older female we're raising up...

Those are some seriously nice clowns!!!! That really reduced pattern one is insane........I love it. I also have to admit I admire your photography......you always post amazing photos of your animals. It definately helps convey the beauty of them.

Celia/Sean, those are absolutely awesome clowns. I think they are even better than the pins you hatched that I was drooling over a couple of weeks ago! Congrats see you in Daytona.

I'm glad that pair is still pounding frozen/thawed for you! I find that these guys generally have a pretty good feeding response so you should be able to get them BIG in no time!

As for the boas, we are gearing up for this coming season and hope to have a good one! We've got several raise-up males that should hopefully be of size. We'll have some of them on display at Daytona. Are you going to be able to make it to the show?

Thanks,
Celia

Brian and Lori at BHB Enterprises a couple of years ago. We couldn't have asked for a better looker or breeder either! He did a great job for us last season and has been doing a fantastic job this year. I haven't taken any new photos of him lately so I'll try to remember to the next time I'm doing pictures. Here's an older photo of him...

I've always liked both extremes on Clowns, reduced patterns and crazy patterns. However, I must say, I LOVE that one in the top left corner of the first picture, I believe it is the same one in the second picture.

Congrats on the babies, and the good odds.
