150 gram spider?

what size rat should a 150 gram spider be eating? whats to small or to large?

It depends on the length of the snake.

A rule of thumb I use, is to feed a rat that's about the size of the snake's girth at its widest point. I have an '06 hatchling who's eating rat fuzzies with their eyes still closed.. with smaller snakes, it seems to be better to feed something a little too small so that it isn't as big and scary.
