Well I finally had the space and time to purchase some amazons. Boy am I glad. I have always loved this snake and yesterday I bought a grey male and a colored fenale. I had read the caresheets before I got them and didn't really find anything about breeding. I heard you don't have to cycle them? Is there anything to do that stimulates breeding behavior. I bought adults so they should be able to breed, both are healthy and FAT! I'll try to get some pics up tomorow. Any other tips form the experts?

Thanks,
Justin

While you don't have to cycle them, I would suggest paying attention to the weather.

I've found more often than not that low pressure systems and rainstorms definately put them in the mood.

Do you know if they are of breeding age?

They are about 4.5 to 5 feet long so I would assume they are ready, although I don't know for sure because they are long term captives.
