I'm used to cornsnake poop, so when my boa defecated for the first time since I picked her up last week, I was SHOCKED! This little 28" snake left a poo big enough to have come out of one of my CATS!
is this normal?

Wait itll it's an adult! I cleaned up crap this morning that no dog on earth, no matter how big, could've produced.
I thought a Grizzly Bear got in there last night.

it was soooo interesting to see the difference between her waste and the greasier stuff my cornsnakes produce... the boa was MUCH easier to clean up, even though the AMOUNT produced was more impressive!
I have a couple boas that i have put a small short cup in their tub and they ALWAYS defacate in it. This isn't the water bowl, but just a cup. The one was initially a hide I had made out of cutting the bottom of a solo drink cup. She pooped in it and i cleaned it out and she did it again! So I tried it on the others and another does it consistently and one sometimes. I think of it as a snake litter box
In many of my enclosures I have a sterilite 1754 sweater box with holes as a hide. Quite often they will go in the "hide" and wow it's soooooooo much easier to clean up. can even carry the whole mess to the toilet for proper disposal.
