I was watching a nature program one time, can't remember which one, but it showed a father african bullfrog and his tadpoles. The tadpoles were in a puddle that was starting to dry up, and the father dug a twenty foot long trench with his feet to a depper puddle so the tadpoles could swim to this puddle and wouldn't dry up. It seems very odd for a frog to display parental behavior like this. See as how most frogs just lay their eggs in the nearest fishless pool and then leave them to fend for themselves. I was just wondering if anyone else had heard such a thing.
