Goodmorning all! I haven't posted in a while on here but I read your posts everyday. Anyway.....I have a question for you. A couple of years ago on another website (can't remember where it was), someone posted a recipe for box turtle food that was made of veggies, and other items including meat I think, and was held together with unflavored gelatine. It was made in an ice-cube tray, the cubes were then frozen so you could take out so many cubes to thaw each day to feed the turtles. Did any of you ever happen to see that recipe or try it?
My boxies have been eating good, but it would be so simple to make up a batch of food and freeze it and then just take out the cubes needed for mealtimes. I remembered about this recipe but unfortunately I didn't write it down at the time and can't remember where I saw it to try to go back and try to find it. I don't even know if it would still be on the site after 2 years. Anyway.....if any of you know what I am talking about, or have tried this, I would appreciate any input you might have.
Well, here's wishing all of you a nice week-end! Take care.................9boxies
