Frosty's pic and some OT pics.

ReptilesRampant Aug 11, 2006 10:34 AM

I am not joking, Frosty is the WORST tempered corn I have ever seen. And he has very sharp teeth. My hand was dripping blood from many of his little "pinpricks" and I stunk the rest of the day from his musk. Even after a shower. I didn't trust him outside, so I put him in the bathtub (I was also taking pics for Serp's measuring system). The camera wouldn't focus at all, and he was being really fidgety, so I only took one pic. I actually waited until he was relaxed, then swooped down to take it so he wouldn't scratch the lens anymore. Here it is, I hope you appreciate it. LOL

And here is the rest of my "family".

Sandy, a rescue longhaired red dachshund. He is about to turn 14 . We have had him for 5 years.

And Josie, aka "Pig". She eats everything (poop, uncooked rice, pills, cardboard, whatever we leave out.) She even snorts just like a pig. The vet said it was because of a harmless deformity of something in her throat. She is another rescue, a badly abused hunting dog, about 7 years old. We have had her for 5 years too.

Look at this sweet face!

That's everyone except for the cat, the rats, and the boa. Oh yeah, and the baby corns. (Stay tuned for some pics of them)

Well, I just got my Frosty a few months ago from a friend who didn't have enough time for his large collection. He was fed once a week, that being the extent of his "socialization" for his whole life. I am not sure what to do with him. He is not at all approachable, and he doesn't fit into any breeding plans. It is going to be a lot of work to get him even relatively friendly. Oh well... I breed my own rats, and I have a lot of extra, so it isn't costing me much to keep him. I will probably go for the slow approach. Just holding him a few times a week (with gloves). We'll see.
