she is gravid i have a question.

finally after a few weeks of having my male and female panther just coexist without doing anything, i witnessed some copulation about a few days ago.I then kept them togethor for 4 days, seperated them for 4, and now they are back togethor. she is showing the signs of being gravid and with my veileds they start to hiss at the males when they are getting closer to laying time. does this occur with panthers. I ususally keep them togethor until i see her being fatter or hissing. is this a good approach.

With both my veileds and panthers, I keep them in separate cages except for mating. When I put them together to mate, I leave them until the female shows signs of being gravid or aggressive towards the male and then remove her.
