Butter and Waxworms

Staind_Ice Aug 11, 2006 04:27 PM

Sage ate butter worms and wax worms today - I gave him one of each to start and he went for the butterworm first then the wax worm. He's eaten two more butterworms sense and they seem to be agreeing with him and he most definately enjoyed them. Unfortately I think all my meal worms are dead - the darn FedEx people didn't ring the bell so they were all sitting outside in 100 degree heat for a few hours! He chomped down what he got though!

Yeah, I had that same problem with my last shipment of superworms, so I'm putting off ordering any more for a while until it's a little cooler. For the time being I am buying small quantities locally, which is cheaper than throwing away $25 a pop on a bunch of baked bugs!
