Actually its never been done and it would be something new. The het and amel from the corn would not produce anything in the f1 generation but later ones will.
What would you name a hybrid like that? The Florida x hondos are named Jurassics because of the way the f1's looked. The corndurans are aptly named. What would be a good name for a cornxfloridana ??
