New pics of questioned 06 butter

jtclark Aug 12, 2006 01:00 PM

I made a post last weekend about my new butter. Some thought it was a nice example of a butter and others thought it may be an amber. Here are some nice outdoor pics I took today. I can't decide if these are amel eyes or not. They have a red tint but they are not as red as my amel's. SO let me know what you think.

First time I took a snake outside for pics. I think they turned out great.

wow,
Love that snake.
But, after seeing those pictures I'm going to have to jump off the "nice butter wagon" and say that is one nice Amber.
Those are not the red eyes of an animal carrying amelanism.
At least not on my screen.

Jimmy, I'm going with a very yellow, very nice amber. It looks just like mine from Soderburg.
Compare those eyes to ones of an amel.

I'd say amber. Pic of my butter, but I think she is going into shed. But take a look at her eyes. They have a red tint to them.

Very nice amber you have there!

By the way...that granite makes a great backdrop for all sorts of different colored snakes. Very cool picture possibilities there!
