This little guy (note the holes in the deli cup for reference) has a good appetite, I guess....

....as does this eastern king that just moments earlier shed for the first time.

A sib of his ate before sheding. I hope they all take off as well..

I love to see that. Those that take off are usually the types to really achieve maximum growth in their first year of life. I just had 3 White Wall Specks who came out of the egg nice n fat eat their first meals weeks after hatching, just in time for Daytona, hopefully that it s a good omen. What do you think that Mole will look like as an adult? Tom Stevens

Oh yeah, my wife and I are leaving tomorrow. Gonna vacation for a few days before we arrive friday.Gotta make the Mrs happy before I do my anuual shopping. She had a great time last year, this year we're both really looking forward to it. I have Sonoran gopher morphs hatching this morning, this will be the second time I drive across country with snakes pipping LOL, c ya there Tom Stevens

I don't remember who it was - but someone earlier this year reported finding a neonate zonata that took a baby fence lizard right out of his hand, in the wild.
