hi everyone, it has been a long time since i have posted. i was at my local cricket farm today picking up the usual 1,000 crix for my family of leos and fattails and notcied they had some "Pakistan Roaches". i figured i would get about 10-20 just for something new as a treat for some of my leos/fatties.
i have never feed roaches to my animals befor and i dont know anything about the different roache speacies so i was hoping maybe someone could just tell me that this Pakistan type is ok to feed. i dont plan on this beeing a normal thing though because i dont think the farm normally has them. also, can anyone tell me if they are the flying type of roache, because i have a rack system in my office and i dont need roaches running arround besides the usual crickets.

Are you sure those are "Turkistan" roaches. When I first read your post I was thinking of Turkistan because I had never heard of Pakistan roaches. I went to the 2 biggest sites on roaches, Bugchick.com & Blaberus.com, but didn't find anything there either. Maybe the supplier just messed up the name LOL If they are indeed Turkistan roaches, they are suppose to be great for Leos, but they are as Blaberus.com puts it "The Roadrunners" of the roach community, very fast LOL And no, they do no fly or climb smooth surfaces. I was deciding between them and the discoids I went with when I first decided to raise roaches. Discoids have wings too. The not flying and not climbing were two "musts" for me
