I say normal. Wait until it sheds then it should be darker.

I agree,that snake looks hypo.

lbrat Aug 14, 2006 05:15 PM

Looks hypo to me.Here's one I hatched last year.

pinky Aug 14, 2006 08:22 PM

They look very much alike!

jyohe Aug 14, 2006 09:39 PM

the parents were from ultra hypo x an okeetee het amel more or less (too normal a looking okee......was to be het lav but never proven)........maybe she was actually possible het lav?

........

OK........it looks hypo-ish but not really that light........not really ultra looking......not hypo like an ultramel either......
and not a hypo lav......

........I don't know what it is either.......

having ultra hypo that come out all shades and frosting percentages and the fact that ultramels look all different shades too.......and the probable grey rat thing going on?.......

.........??????????????????????????????????

Here is a picture of the parents again. The grey guy is a ruby eyed ghost that was used in a double breeding with your two. the smaller girl is a ruby eyed hypo that was too young to breed.

If yours are truely Ultramels I will see the results shortly with a hatch of your male to an amel. here I should get a mix if amels and Ultramels exclusively. Of course with hypo a in the mix from yours it could get confusing, but amel and ultra are at the same locus on the chromosome soi should only get amels and uultramels........Time will tell.

jyohe Aug 16, 2006 07:55 PM

I guess they are ultramels........

...you still have young het lav het ? ultras too right.....

I have 1.3 ultramel het lav and I think 3 het ultra and lav......

noone even thought of buying them last year and the 7 are left here...........I still hate them....they are still crazy .......they should??? breed next year.....all I want to see is an ultra lav.......(and I probably won't keep any of them....)LOL.........

I really need to start selling online.......my friends say the same thing....but we continue to wholesale as fast as we can......and we are all really getting tired of snakes and rodents and the hasstle..........especially with the ball market crashing violently into the floor........
