jeffq Aug 14, 2006 01:15 PM

I have 11 babies from this year. 2 of them have ate pinky mice and rats but the others are not interested. 3 of the 11 that have not ate are goin on thier 4th week since they have hatched, so I was wonderig if any one had any suggestions on getting them to eat.
Thanks

try putting them in a plastic container...maybe with some vent holes in it for air and put a single snake in it and a mouse then put it in a dark quiet place for about an hour ..see if that works

I place the snake in a very small brown bag with a live hopper mouse.Roll the end of the bag closed. My little ones never took pinkies. The darkness & small space has always worked for me. After the first one I didn't have to use the bag again.
Best of luck to you!
Beth
