measuring plexiglass

I was wondering the best way to measure for plexiglass. how much should i take off for the height and how much should it over lap?

I assume you mean for the sliding door tracks, how much to you need to measure for the piece to fit in the tracks.

Basically if you measure the distance from inside the top track to the top of the inside of the bottom track. The groove not the base. Than basically subtrack the height of the bottom track itself from the origional measurement.

For overlap I usually go with a 2" overlap on my 4' cages.
