O/T, Back with pics

MicheleSmith Aug 14, 2006 02:04 PM

Just got in late last night from vacay at the Galapagos Islands. The flight there was terrible...a so called 'slight' technical difficulty turned into the right wing of the plane catching on fire! We were 7 minutes away from our final destination and had to turn around and fly all the way back to the airport we departed from as the other one didn't have medical aid to support us in case we came in too hot.

That same day, all 5 pairs of my shoes were stolen, LOL.

Besides those little incidents, it was fun. All the chameleons are doing great Took some pics, but I'm a little upset by how much I had to resize them and reduce the pixels- which really messed up the pics. Any way I can reduce the photo's pixels yet keep it clear? Thanks,

a place I have always wanted to go - and bring Darwin along for the trip since it was his namesake's "laboratory"

What a treat - great pics- they look fine. KS Gallery can be rather tedious if you are uploading a lot of pics. You might want to use flickr, webshots, photobucket or other online free photo hosting sites. Then just link us to the site.

Glad you came home to happy chams!

Sucks with all of the bad luck you encountered though!

I would love to see all of the great mairne iguanas and other iguanas that live on the island. Lucky you!

Glad to here the chams are all honky dory (love that word )

Gen'rals gathered in their masses,
Just like witches at black masses
Evil minds that plot destruction,
Sorcerer of death's construction
In the fields the bodies burning,
As the war machine keeps turning
Death and hatred to mankind,
Poisoning their brainwashed minds
Oh Lord Yeah!

I am so jealous....I saw a documentary once on the igauanas that fed on the seaweed in the tides...very cool. I would love to encounter those precious moments of seeing animals in the wild in such abundance. Great life time of memories!

My Gosh these pics are incredibly AWESOME, so entertaining, dang I just loved them, and the others further down too.
SUPER fantastic, those iggies together are great. I too think it would be unbelivable to go there.

Glad you got to go and shared it with us! MORE pics
