Another shot of my set-up. This set-up is great I hooked up a patio misting system and a hose for extra misting and the rubber maid shelves allow the water to drip down to the ground. I have to trim the hibiscus once a week because they grow so fast.

Sweet...love the consistency...where do you live? I think that info would be important. Here in the northwest...outside is not much of an option for 9 months outta the year LOL!

Gets a little too hot here for the chams in the summer. End of fall to mid spring.....perfect!

Good job!

oh it gets hot here too. We've hit 100 everyday for the past week. But my veils seem to love it! So do the panthers. The misting system helps cool them off throughout the day.

lizardfreak13 Aug 16, 2006 04:26 PM

Good idea! Never thought of trying to use the misting system to help cool em. I bet if i kept the misting bottle in the refridgerator, i could keep him outside in the summer.....in shade of course.

Can i see some more pics if it wouldnt be a problem? Thanks

I just bought a patio misting system with a 6 cycle garden hose timer. They are right in the full sun but have plenty of shade from the hibiscus. They are growing like weeds in the texas sun.
