Hello Ron,
I honestly can't tell you if it's toxic to Bulls, since i have never used it personally for anything except fish tank repairs. Which i'm thinking i probably used a few of those "fixed" cracked tanks to hold herps without any problems. I used to use this stuff when i was little to fix all my carelessness (moving tanks and hitting things with them, lol). Heck, I'm still hitting things and cracking the last two aquariums i have here...thats why i've given the rest of them away, i can't keep them in one piece, lol. But I can't see any problems that this product would cause. I would personally let it dry and air out for several days though, and then wash it several times before keeping any animals on it. Best of luck, and please post your experience with this product for the rest of us to know in fact if it is toxic or not to snakes.
Best of luck,
Gregg F.
>>I've just recently built a tray for my terrarium in which my baby bullsnake resides. I didn't think until now about materials and toxicity (I thought that since Silicone was used on Aquariums I should be OK). I used "GE Silicone Bathroom Glue $ Seal - Clear. 100% Silicone, Mildew Resistant, etc." I read that for Frogs this stuff (mildew Resistant) is not good... How about for Bullsnakes?
