and it's not good. The media focuses on the one moron. This guy does more to destroy our hobby than 1000 responsible keepers. With this dumb snake movie coming out, I'm sure we are going to see tons of negative news about snakes. On a positive note, my local news channel did a great story about snakes (not this one).

This makes me eternally sad. Why even have animals if you're going to mistreat them?

I'll be the first to admit I have a lot of animals. Not as much as the big breeders, but all of mine are 'pets'. But every single animal I have is well fed (maybe overweight in some cases!), and has an appropriate enclosure.

You need a license to drive, a license to marry, I'm a firm believer in a license to keep critters or to breed (yourself or your animals!).

It angers me to know how much flack the herp community gets from just a few bad apples.
