Snake Room Night Shot

I'm just a newbie so I don't have a lot but thought this was a cool night shot. It's really not that bright in there at night. I was using the night shot feature on my camera.

...Interesting PIC. Did the camera make those boxes look blue-purple or are they lighted with black lights?

Yep. Black lights (60W) from Lowes. About $3 each along with a $7 dimmer and $5 lamp from lowes. You can buy 20W red bulbs there too. Sure beats buying a heat lamp setup at a pet store. I must admit that those are my 3 ball python cages. The night shots of my BRBs didn't come out. They are all on flexwatt controlled by Helix DBS 1000s. A little favoritism??? I'd have to say yes But really I'm just experimenting with a few things to see what works best for me. The lights seem to be doing really well but they take up a lot of space and wouldn't work well in a rack system.
