Sorry about the bad pic. I am using a borrowed camera for the time being as I had my camera burglarized from my home two weeks ago.

"What about that little redheaded critter? you know the one that was poking his nose out of the egg?"

That snake is the second pic below the patternless. I will get better pics soon.

This is the second snake. The one with the red head sticking out of the egg. She is a female and I like her the best.. The patternless is a male. She ate today for the second time and is lookin waaaay better already.

Pic is before she ate:

Yes they are out of business.

Maybe one of these days you will tell the story of Southern, what became of their stock- who's got what from them, and how they were connected to Ricks and Osborne? I believe there is a legacy there that has repercussions throughout the current industry or should I say "hobby". What became of some of their projects?

bluerosy Aug 15, 2006 10:54 PM

Yes, how very insightful of you.

The snakes they originated (their were many new morphs) are accepeted into the hobby today by "purists". I will give a long account of how a few of these animals came about and where unleased by secondary legitimate breeders to extablish the snakes validity and price. Some of you will be shocked how many new morphs that we have today can be traced back to SR.

That is a Ball python market BALL BUSTER!!!
That is a picture of the future for the patternless ghosts, jelly, lav,
reds, orange, white- everything you can dream. Patternless Dream too.
And by the way, what's with the security system at your place man!!!
I'd gladly trade you my nice digital camera and a mean dog for that one! (Two mean dogs?...)

bluerosy Aug 15, 2006 02:13 PM

This snake actaully has a lot of pink. The camera I am using (for now) does not pick it up.

Keith Hillson Aug 15, 2006 04:31 PM

I must admit those are beautiful snakes. That would be a cool snake to see at 4-5' long. Nice work.
