HELP PLEASE;

okay guys! as some of you may know, I just recently purchased my first snake last month. An albino nelson milk snake, whom I deemed Mowgli. He's just shedded 3 days ago(my first shed EVER), and had refused to eat before shedding. So I thought now would be a good time to try and feed him, but he won't eat now. Is this normal? Or should I be worried? Also is it normally for a snake to be umm.. "nervous" after shedding?

..and one more thing; albino nelsons are known to be nervous when theyre little, for the majority of you have they calmed down as they got older?
Thanks guys - I'll have pictures up soon.

Don't worry about the nervousness - This will fade as they get older. Handling the snake regularly will help to make it more comfortable with you.

I have found that even my best feeders will not eat right after a shed. Wait 2-3 days before offering food to be sure you are not wasting it. Some will eat right afterwards but not always...

I would imagine that there is some discomfort with the new sensitive skin but the nervousness must be due to the age mainly.
