here are the two adult redtails I picked up today, they've been in this little sterilite storage container for the last week, no water, heat or light... and only a few tiny holes drilled for ventilation!

the female's got a little wheeze, so they're being kept warm, and in sterilite underbed stackers... they both got soaks today, and drank a TON of water, and they're getting some rat pups tomorrow, since I have no idea how long it's been since they've eaten, and they're both pretty underweight.

I can pinch almost 1/2" of skin off of the side of the female, and she's got some WICKED scarring on her nose, looks like from a bad burn or a live rat, and the male has some shed sticking onto his jaw, but they're already looking better after a few hours of more comfortable temperatures...

tailshot and 'ball of boa' shot of the male, who is in MUCH better condition, the second two are of the female, who is really underweight, and has this horrible scarring on her nose...

I am glad someone got them that cares about the boas well being. It really ticks me off to see boas that people didnt care enough about an just let them go like that.It just makes no sence why some people will pull stunts like that.If they didnt want them why not have given them away to someone who did?Maybe they need thrown in a box without food an water an padlocked in a freezer so they can see how it feels!!!!!Sorry I am rambling.I am glad you got them an atleast now have a fighting chance of making it.Good luck with getting them well. Thanks for posting.Eric[Hypoboa]
