Housing Pairs

Hi,
I am new to the forum. A few years ago I had a great male Rhinoceros Iguana that I kept for a long time before I was forced to sell him due my family and I moving. Anyway now that we have settled down I would really like to purchase a pair of Multihorned Rhinoceros Iguanas from Bob Ehrig (who my male was from). I was wondering if I could keep a pair of hatchlings together in an enclosure about 4'x2' until they matured. I would be using a capture the sun bulb for UVB and I grow all sorts of potential organic food like Collard and Mustard Greens. I would eventually build a large outdoor enclosure for them as the grew. Do you think they would be aggresive toward each other?

Thanks a lot,
Nick Arms

NO, 2x4 until they mature would be mean. It will stunt their growth. A 2x2x6 would be good for 2 years, and 4x4x8 for 3 years, and a 10x10 for an adult pair. I hope you do the right thing, good luck.
