HELP!!! Rotten Egg?

medyssa Aug 15, 2006 10:25 PM

I looked in on my baby crested egg this morning and found some mold-ish looking stuff attched to it between the vermaculite and the egg, the egg is due as soon as next week (60 days) and looks like its getting a little clear in some spots. This is my first egg so I have very little of an idea what is going on. Can anyone tell me if it will be okay?

The picture is from when the egg was laid.

You can gently rub off the mold off the sides of the eggs, move it to another spot of the incubating container, just don't turn it. Let it continue incubating till it either hatches or obviously is dead.
