My female hasn't poo-ed in 4-6 days. She is 9 months old and hasn't had this problem before. I have tried baths and sun bathing. She usually goes like clock work every other day, with out fail. She had a fecal done 6 weeks ago and no parasites. She still eats all her veggies. Should I not worry and give her a couple more days? Should i give her mineral oil? Should I take her to the vet? If she is impacted what will the vet do to unclog her?

Make sure her temps are right 105 in basking spot. Continue giving warm baths rubbing her belly as she soaks. Also adding more water to her salad, and getting her to drink will help. I would give her 2-3 more days to go. A vet would most likely X-ray or feel for a mass first. Then he might choose to flush her out with water with a special tube. this won't hurt just a little uncomfortable, and most likely break up the mass. This should work. If that didn't work there are other ways to do it.

Thank you. I will wait a couple more days. I'm going to make an appt now though and cancel if she does her business, it's really hard to get an appt w/out waiting a month.
