I was cruising the ads today, and.......

Swooped a pair of BRB's from Brian Sharp today.

Male het Anery and Female Anery, he's still bringing one last female to Daytona, look him up early if you want to see her!!

Brian's sample pic:

Now that's an Anery

Gonna have to wait a few weeks to get them
Will post pics shortly after they arrive

Thanks,

Very VERY nice! I spoke with Brian about those but just didn't have the cash flow. Anyone that owns hypos and anerys must have trouble sleeping at night

That's a wonderful find. I am happy for you, and also excited to watch what happens within the next 2 to 4 years.

It's one of those really cool stories (at least for me):

Brian had not posted with the intent to sell prior to Daytona, he knew they'd sell there for sure. Was only drumming up traffic to his table.

I was not looking for anything, was actually cruising the ads checking if there was an adult female posted. There's been a local girl looking for one. I was just keeping an eye out for her and watching prices on babies.

I saw Brian's ad, called mt wife right away and got the go ahead and replied to the ad right then. BTW, My wife's SUCH a sweetheart, she's more ready for me to spend on my hobby/business than I am. I then pulled up Brian's site to get a phone number since there was not one on the ad. Called him and bought the pair right then. He was checking emails and there were more after mine wanting to buy the lone male, maybe even more to buy the anery female(s).

That's not the first time I made the spot decision and swooped up a baby that others wanted as well. Brain and I even laughed about how true it is, find it and buy it, wait and miss out.

Dave,
...I saw the ad and those are really anerythristic looking. The comparison shots with the normal colored siblings are perfect. I think I missed a big opportunity. Several years ago at a show Ben Seigel brought by some BRBs that he wanted my opinion on. They were very anerythristic looking. Different than other anerythristic lines. I think I remember making a real cheap a$$ lame low ball offer for them. Brian was right across from me and I told Ben to show them to Brian. I think he bought most or all of them that Ben had. I imagine the babies Brian is selling now are offspring of those snakes. Oh well.

Hey Jeff, when I saw these, compared to others we had previously discussed (and were disgusted with) I was very impressed as obviously real anery's, not anything like some of the others we saw for sale. Definately was not in the budget but oh well, sometimes you just have to go for it and take the plunge with both feet!! Have fun in Daytona, some year I'll have to show up.

...I was all wrong on the origin of those anerythristic BRBs. I talked to Brian today. Their was a freshly imported gravid snake several years ago that laid a small litter with one anerythristic baby and Brian bought that snake.
