I really want to save walter. yesterday i was so happy that he ate a wax worm. however that joy quickly went away when he pooped it out this morning undigested, like the worm wasn't harmed at all. i am surprised it was dead. anybody ever heard of anything like this before?

I've seen mine do that on occasion. If they're that sick though, I usually feed them a watery paste of canned A/D with liquid calcium mixed in. It's highly digestible, and if the lizard can absorb the calories (sometimes they just can't), it's the most efficient way to deliver them.

I would not feed him supers or mealies since they are harder to digest with the chiten/shell, atleast until he perks up and gets some strength back.

I think I would try to stick with softer meals, if he wants insects, try butter worms or softer bodied insects and see if he can digest them any better. Hope Walter feels better soon.

Let us know ho weht job went, I know today is your first teaching day, (The NUTTY professor) LOL
