Males surely aren't the smarter sex

Kaysie Aug 16, 2006 01:12 PM

He's surely not the smartest snake, but he's a good feeder (despite what the picture says).

eats butt first. He grabs the thawed mouse off the tongs head first every time, and proceeds to the rear every time. He's a 1999 hatch and has never eaten head first. Set in his ways you could say.

This one and one of my other males regularly eat backwards or even sideways. My big female tried to take a large rat by the rear leg. When she couldn't fit the butt in first, she tried dismembering it. It was a rather amusing round of feedings, that's for sure.
