Got a 1200g female from a fellow breeder and she refused to eat for a full year! I tried everything under the sun (including taking her for a drive...none of the more normal tactics were working). Then I shipped her back to the original breeder and within a week she had eaten 2X for him!!! That pissed me off pretty good! But the one the breeder sent back in trade for the non-feeder laid eggs for me last year, so I can't complain!

WC female I got on October 10, 2003. I don't know how long before I got her was her last meal~ but the first meal she took here was on January 30, 2005. She ate ONE small mouse on 1-30-05, then went another 6 full months until 8-4-05 to eat another small mouse. She never lost muscle tone or looked weak at all (she was very fast to bite ME on a regular basis). She was a steady feeder until 12-31-05~ then off feed again until 4-9-06~ now she is feeding on two small rats a week.

About 14 months, 3 years ago. It was my 15 year old normal female and I still don't know why she went off feed. I just monitored her weight till she started up on her own one day.
