Questions about eggs--first timer here!

We've had Wilson, or largest female for about two years. We bought Del a little over a year ago. The vet told us they were both female so we stuck them in the same tank, thought Del was smaller and younger, they got along fine (never thought I would see snakes cuddle). So, hubby and I buy Bob, a male b/c we want to breed. Now Bob is too young right now so I assume I have a year or two to learn everything I need to know to be sucessful. We also keep them seperated, they have never come in contact with Bob. Hubby comes home tonight and goes to feed Del, and what is in their hide house, a clutch of eggs, which both 'females' are wrapped around. My sister in law says is possible for a female to lay without a male present. I guess I can see that-chickens do, but why now after almost five-six years old? Could my vet be wrong and one is a male? If so, how long to I need to wait to candle? What temp & humidity to help hatching process. right now, it's 10:01 pm & it's 76.8 degrees and 43% humidity. Any advise on getting the humidity up? Thanks.

hi Lindsay, the eggs should be at 89-90 degrees ferenheit. The humidity should be about 65%.

I'm letting nature take it's place and letting her materinally incubate them. The temps are where you said and humidity I can't get any higher than 50%. I've tried everything I can think of. Also, how do I separate the eggs? One has stopped developing and I don't know how to get them apart.
