I posted pics of this guy earlier but he was in shed when I adopted him a week and a half ago. It's hard to take a good picture of a black blood! He's eaten already and is very easy to handle.

Yup, I wasn't planning on getting a male until maybe next year sometime, but if a great opportunity comes you just can't pass it up! My girl's only a year old so she has a lot of growing to do before I can pair them up.

Nice score for sure.That would be hard to pass on that guy.He's just glistering.

Wow! what a great save. He is stunning in every sense of the word. Take great care of this guy, he is very special I am sure you know that.

I'm usually more of a lurker on here, but I couldn't help posting. I feel so lucky that I was picked to take him. I would've paid much more than the $5 adoption fee, but that's all that was needed. Yeah, usually there are iguanas and turtles and more common snakes given up, but this one totally surprised me (and quite a few other people). Well, maybe I'll get some eggs from him in a few years when my girl matures.

I can't remember if this has been asked/answered before. If he's bred to my light-headed female, would the babies be one or the other or a mix of both?

He's a beauty. You'll very likely have a mix bag of dark heads and lighter colored heads too. Tan, pumpkins, and maybe even some chromes, not excluding black heads too. Great find. Where'd you get his guy from any way?
