They range in prices, it all depends who your buying from, if there LTC or fresh off the boat, But as far as between male and female they seem to stay about the same price. When there giant, there almost always the same price. But if your wanting to put a breeding group together in the future, I would do it now or soon as you have the room and money, as there's been talk about this being the last year there imported. IF they do, expect prices to jump i'm sure. Granted there will always be adults out there in several years, but expect to pay more then.... This is like the spdier tortoises, when they were coming in back in 00' and 01' prices were low and they were everywhere. Good luck now days finding adult breeding spiders, and if you do, you'll pay good money because there not coming in anymore. Also, the same thing happend with the pancakes but then this year they came in again and the market got destoyed. There was a importer selling them for $200 each, and he had probably i bet 300 of them

Just a reminder that no matter a dealer/importer may tell you, Asian Mt torts cannot be visually sexed with much more than about 50% accuracy (meaning a little better than a guess). If a dealer tells you he is 'sure it's a female," don't believe it unless the animal has laid eggs.
