What a difference a year makes!

Hey,

Just a pic of my July '05 pastel female. Yes, she really is this big, and no, she never refuses a meal. She never went off feed over the winter and took 2 small rats/wk on average. She will NOT eat medium or large rats, and has NOT been "power fed". C-mon, show me one bigger from '05????

See you in Daytona tomorrow!

This female pastel was hatched in July of 05 as well. She has never been fed a rat, mice only. I have included 2 pictures of her for the skeptics out there that might say I did not zero the scale with the tub on it. Enjoy.......Tony

Hey,

Interesting that you wouldn't post your own name to that ridiculous post, but I'll bite. What are YOU, sir, calling "power feeding?" If you mean feeding your animals 1-2 rats a week, then more POWER to you (and me)! Posts made on this forum need to be educated and informative, not accusatory and off-base. Educate yourself awhile, watch what goes on here a bit, and when you've raised up a few animals on your own- then post based on your personal experiences and not your FEELINGS or make accusations about how others raise their animals.

SHEEEESH!

Well I bought this september hatchling at the chicago show in October at under 100 grams. She is currently over 1600, but I haven't taken any recent pics of her...It doesn't really seem that big of a deal.

Another pic of my 04 pastel female from this May, she already laid a clutch (6 eggs) for me and she is back up to 1200. She also has never touched a rat in her life, only mice.
